Limited Warranty

Gruen Systems LLC ("Gruen," "we," "us," or "our") warrants its drainage, profile and shower system products (each, a "Product") to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship, subject to the terms below. This Limited Warranty is incorporated by reference into our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
1. What Is Covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use, when the Product has been properly installed by a qualified professional in accordance with Gruen's published installation instructions and applicable local plumbing and building codes.
2. Warranty Periods
Gruen Products are covered by a 5-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. Certain product lines may carry a different stated period on their spec sheet or packaging, which will govern in place of this default term.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover: damage resulting from improper installation, alteration, or misuse; normal wear and tear, scratches, or surface finish changes over time; damage caused by abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or failure to follow care instructions; damage from freezing, structural movement, or water damage unrelated to a Product defect; and Products installed contrary to Gruen's published guidelines or applicable code.
4. Making a Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact our team with proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. We may request access to inspect the installation or ask a qualified installer to confirm the installation method. Approved claims will be remedied, at Gruen's discretion, by repair, replacement, or refund of the affected Product's purchase price.
5. Limitation of Remedies
This warranty covers the Product itself and does not cover labor, removal, reinstallation, tile, or other materials associated with a claim, unless otherwise required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty is Gruen's sole obligation and the purchaser's exclusive remedy for a covered defect.
6. Dealer & Trade Purchases
Products purchased through an authorized Gruen dealer or distributor are covered under this same Limited Warranty; the dealer or distributor may assist with the initial claim but Gruen remains the warrantor of the Product.
